Action Learning for Aspiring BAME Leaders

We are piloting a number of approaches with the specific aim of improving access to leadership development opportunities for BAME colleagues. Our staff survey results, WRES and workforce data consistently tell us that BAME colleagues report difficulty in accessing development and therefore reduced opportunity to progress. Action Learning groups are a fantastic way to build connection, reflect, learn from your peers and identify your own next steps, we use them on all of our leadership programmes and participant feedback is always very positive. It includes 4 facilitated sessions during which you’ll be put into smaller groups where you’ll each have the opportunity to discuss your own experiences, challenges and aspirations and work through these with the support of your group.
