This qualification is currently on hold. We are awaiting apprenticeship standard approval for delivery. Once this has been received divisional managers will be contacted and selected staff will be supported through the application process.
Learning Outcomes
- Recognise business communication models, systems and processes, be able to communicate in writing in business and be able to communicate verbally in business.
- Be able to identify personal and professional development requirements, be able to fulfill a personal and professional development plan and be able to maintain the relevance of a personal and professional development plan.
- Describe negotiation in a business environment, understand how to develop and deliver presentations, understand how to create bespoke business documents and understand information systems in a business environment.
- Explain how to manage an office facility, understand health and safety in a business environment, understand how to take minutes of meetings and chair, lead and manage a meeting. Understand how to supervise an administration team as well as organise events.
- Explain business markets, innovation and growth. Understand financial management, business budgets, sales and marketing.
- Describe the principles of resolving business problems, understand improvement techniques and processes, be able to solve problems in business and be able to contribute to the improvement of activities.
