Course Information
An interactive workshop for Allied Health Professionals who support, supervise and assess Allied Health, apprentices, preceptees and students. The workshop uses a multi-professional approach to share and learn from one another on how to best support practice learning. Facilitated by Practice Education Facilitators and Preceptorship Facilitators, the workshop provides opportunities to engage with key colleagues who provide expert advice, guidance and support.
Learning Outcomes

​1.    Identify creative ideas and practical strategies to enhance practice learning

2.    Networking with colleagues to greater enhance and develop practice related to education

3.    Opportunity to engage across professions to explore creative solutions to North West Regional Reform

4.    Gain greater insight into current practice education processes

5.    Gain greater awareness and understanding of:

  • Preparing for students/apprentices/preceptees,
  • Preceptorship programme / arrangements
  • Allied Health apprenticeship programmes
  • Roles and responsibilities of Educators, Mentors and Preceptors
