Course Information
This course will allow practitioners to utilise a strength-based model which does accurately measure Neglect.
It has high user inter-reliability and is accepted within the court agenda
When this course is successfully completed the practitioner will be licensed to apply this in practice and be provided with access to the data base.
The GCP2 will support practitioners identify the What not the Why which is so often responsible for case drift and lack of action.
Learning Outcomes
Understand how each element of the GCP2 can be used to
identify strengths within a family and clearly identify weaker areas which need
to be addressed directly. It will clarify for the Practitioner what areas are
weak and measure outcomes after intervention as a base line for improvement
Target Audience
Health visitors, School nurses’ band 6 and band 5, Nurse Associates band 4 CYPS only. Team leaders’ band 7 HV and SN only.
