Introduction to working alongside and supporting people with a learning disability.
The training demystifies diagnosis of learning disability, considers why the training is important, describes the barriers to health care and inequalities, outlines the prevalent health needs for people with a learning disability and introduces the requirement to provide reasonable adjustments with specific examples.
The training has been coproduced will people with lived experience and mapped against the skills for competency framework for people with a learning disability.
