Course Information
A series of five Master Class sessions have been organised on the subject of the MCA, DoLS and the interface with the MHA. The Master Class sessions will focus importantly on the practical implementation of the MCA, DoLS and the interface with MHA legislation. This will incorporate practices regarding adherence to, and compliance with the Acts, including practical and robust evidencing of actions taken. There will be a Q&A opportunity and time discuss case studies during the session.

  • The General Powers (sections 5&6) of the Mental Capacity Act)
  • Formal Detention under the Deprivation of Liberty Powers
