Course Information
This learning event will provide clarity, guidance and increased awareness in relation to lower limb wounds in order to learn lessons, share best practice and improve patient safety. This includes:
• What is a lower limb wound
• Patient case studies
• Management & Treatment of a lower limb wound
• Referral process
An interactive approach will be used to maximise the opportunity to share any learning amongst participants.

· Describe the different aetiologies of a lower limb

Identify the importance of a mini vascular
assessment

Identify the appropriate management of a lower limb
wound

Identify the correct referral process
