Course Information
This learning event will provide clarity, guidance and increased awareness around domestic abuse in order to learn lessons, share best practice and improve patient safety. This includes: • What is domestic abuse • Roles and responsibilities • Risk assessments • Sourcing support from wider MDT and partner agencies An interactive approach will be used to maximise the opportunity to share any learning amongst participants.
Learning Outcomes
An interactive approach will be used to maximise the opportunity to share any learning amongst participants. At the end of the session clinicians should have:
 
·   Increased understanding of the significance of mental health and how this impacts care and treatment delivery
 
·      Increased awareness of clinical pathways for both
    mental and physical health care delivery
 
  •  Identify key support including documentation and specialist services (internal and external)
