Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) - Module 2

This training is aimed at all those who may be required to engage with anyone affected by a patient safety incident, this also includes those who are required to have oversight of patient safety incidents who need to understand the principles of engagement. Training is therefore suitable for those at Band 8a level and above (including medical staff within Clinical/Associate Director roles) and is also recommended for Clinical team leaders as a part of personal professional development. NB: Initially, due to numbers requiring this training, preference may be given to those currently in a leadership role. The Patient Safety team will advise on this.
