Course Information
The morning of this session will focus on the impact of physical and psychological trauma in our patients, and how this can impact upon their acceptance of care delivery; as well as the vicarious trauma that can be experienced by health care professionals.
Early afternoon, there will be a session on the development, maintenance and protection of resilience, and how to recognise when this may be faltering.
After lunch, the Organisational Effectiveness team will join the preceptorship team to lead some deeper conversations about working towards becoming Actively Anti Racist, in alignment with the Trust Strategy, and Perfect Care goals of zero acceptance of discrimination.
