These are the dates for all five face to face structured learning sessions planned for your cohort, across the 12 months of your Preceptorship.
These sessions are designed to support your transition from student to autonomous professional, meet other early career professionals, and deepen your understanding of the operation and objectives of the Trust
Learning Outcomes
During your first preceptorship session, you’ll be
introduced to the programme and meet the facilitators who offer pastoral
support over the next 12 months. This session begins your transition from
university to practice, offering space to reflect on how your learning connects
to real‑world clinical work, and what this means within Mersey Care.
Each session in the programme has been endorsed by senior
leaders from across the Trust. You’ll hear key messages from the Trust Board
about our strategic direction, and explore how the Perfect Care goals link
directly to everyday clinical practice.

As you approach the end of your 12‑month preceptorship,
you will be guided through the wide range of career pathways available—whether
your future lies in clinical practice, leadership, research, or education.
