There are a number of topics addressed on this course which is aimed at those thinking of retiring: NHS Pension Scheme(s) Information on the current situation regarding the NHS pension scheme(s) and how and where to obtain advice. State Pension How and when to claim the state pension including deferment. Financial Advice Various topics are covered including mortgages, lump sum investments. Inheritance tax and tax savings ideas. Estate Planning Information relating to estate planning including making wills, family trusts and power of attorney.

Learning Outcomes

The aim of the course is to give as much information as possible on the above topics and to give delegates the opportunity to meet the speakers on the day on a one to one basis.

No specific advice is given on the day as each delegate will have individual needs. This advice can be obtained at the one to one meetings after the course.
