The Cheshire and Merseyside program has recently launched a new Microsoft 365 Knowledge Hub that offers free online learning to health and care professionals in the region.
The Digital Learning Solutions (DLS) Portal provides NHS healthcare professionals with access to a variety of online courses for Microsoft Office 365 including Office 365 Essentials for the Workplace, Outlook 365, Word 365, PowerPoint 365 and Excel 365.
We’re pleased to announce the launch of IM Online Learning, our brand-new digital skills training platform from NHS Informatics Merseyside (IM). Designed to help you build digital confidence and get the most out of the systems you use every day, IM Online Learning offers: • 24/7 access to interactive courses and easy-to-follow guides • Role specific clinical systems training • A personalised dashboard to track your progress and download certificates • The option to book or request training sessions (on-site or virtual). From Microsoft 365 tools to clinical and digital systems, our new digital skills training platform is an improvement on our previous Learning Management System (LMS) - offering easier access to the support you need, when you need it. Get started Go to IM Online Learning and select Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust from the dropdown list. Please ensure you are logged in to your work device using your username and password. NHS Informatics Merseyside have developed a new Learning Management System (LMS) to host eLearning content and training guides that delegates can access to support self-directed learning. The Learning Management System The IM Training Service catalogue can be used to access bespoke training resources that have been created by the Training Service to support you with the use of clinical and digital systems.
MCAP (Making Care Appropriate for Patients) MCAP is a clinical decision tool, to be completed on designated inpatient mental health wards during their daily MDT meetings (AM).

How to use Radar to input, approve and manage our incidents
All staff need to be aware that Datix and Ulysses will no longer be the Trust incident management system/is decommissioned on 31/03/23. To report events (incidents) from 01/04/23 you need to know about the new system provided by Radar Healthcare.
If you manage a team/service/division you will be required to respond to all events (incidents) raised by staff . Please book onto a session to be skilled in this key part of your role.
This training is open to all staff, whether you are new to the organisation or seeking a refresher. The first part of the session covers what constitutes an incident, why incident reporting is essential, and how to use the Radar system to submit an incident. The second part focuses on reviewing, approving, and managing incidents within Radar to support effective oversight and governance.
This session is bespoke to you only therefore you will need to have a Trac account for this session. Please note that this session is not for live updates on statuses of your recruitment, this session has been designed to help you with any queries you may have relating to the recruitment system Trac and how to navigate this throughout the recruitment process.
This training is mandatory and will go through specific templates within EMIS explaining how and when they should be used within your clinical documentation on records.
