In our continued commitment to support the health and wellbeing of our colleagues and with the agreement of the Community Division Senior Leadership Team, a series of sickness absence workshops will be held for all Community Division team leaders, line managers and operational managers throughout March and April 2020. This is also in line with our Sickness Absence Reduction Plan. The workshops will be absence management focused and aim to coach and support you in the application of the supporting attendance policy and other associated health and wellbeing policies. The policies related to the session are attached for your information.

The Restorative Just Learning Culture one-day programme has been reviewed to ensure that it is meeting the needs of all our staff, patients and the wider community in creating a culture of inclusion and belonging with zero acceptance of racism, discrimination and unacceptable behaviours. This revised Trust Wide one day programme focuses on supporting ALL Mersey Care colleagues to foster a culture for belonging in their team through inclusive, restorative, just and learning culture practices.
The purpose of this training is to equip interview panels with skills and techniques to ensure that we recruit the right people with the right skills whose values, behaviours and attitudes align with those of the Trust.
A half day virtual forum held twice a year for those in managerial roles from Bands 6 and above. The topics for the forum will change depending on key issues at the time, but will focus on: - Executive updates - The strategic direction of the Trust and delivery of the Trust's operational plan - Facilitating connectivity across the Trust and wider system. - Specific focus on relevant Key Topics e.g. CQC Preparation, Winter Planning
